R.I.P WHUFC ?
I’ve been reading a lot recently about our proposed move to the Olympic Stadium.

As first, we we’re promised that this was a great move for the club, we can compete with the elite and more importantly, affordable football will be available again to the normal ‘punter’.

The closer we come to this move, the more worried I am for our famous football club. The powers that be seem to be targeting the ‘cooperate’ customer, rather than your everyday football fan. They are focused on having the largest cooperate services available, the best restaurants, the most famous sponsors and unfortunately the best seats in the house (if there are any) will be for the prawn sandwich brigade.

They are forgetting the likes of you and me who have followed the club up and down the country for years on end. We are an afterthought and year after year, our ‘proper’ fan base will dwindle away and will we become a nothing football club with a sterile atmosphere. No way will a season ticket be cheaper than what we currently pay!

They keep bleating on about how they want to show off our proud and famous history but without them knowing, this move in my opinion will kill West Ham United F.C as we know it.

I hope I’m wrong but as the days tick over, I really threat about this move but there is nothing we can do about it now.

I’m going to enjoy the next two years (if possible under OAF) because after them, I don’t think we will like what’s coming!

I think everyone should do this and then we can all go our separate ways after knowing we gave West Ham a good send off...

Moving to OS will either catapult us in to the elite (although the board claim we're already there) or will destroy us.

From what I hear from those ITK and my opinion of the lying cunts in charge I suspect it'll be the latter unfortunately.

Change is the law of life. And those who look only to the past or present are certain to miss the future.

Real football died years ago, real fans just kept going but are now seeing the reality.
Blind passion and love for the game/team is fading and the reality is hitting home.
The only link left is the fans, that'll soon be replaced with day trippers and tourists.
Move on, i did!

Never met anyone yet who can look into the future.

Really? Loads of people on here used to claim moving to the OS GUARANTEED success.

They seemed to think they could see into the future?

It a JFK quote. He certainly never saw that bullet coming.

But I don't think that is what he meant.

Moving to the OS gives us a great opportunity to move up a few rungs on the football ladder. Unfortunately i don't entirely trust Berks Inc to do it right.

A lot of the key promotors for moving to the new stadium are slowly being exposed as being misleading, they are driving the morale of supporters through the floor with the drivel on offer week in week out and they terrible when it comes to pricing their games.
